Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Addyzoa is a proprietary herbo-mineral Ayurvedic formulation developed by Charak to support male reproductive health and manage male infertility. It is primarily indicated for oligospermia (low sperm count), asthenozoospermia (poor sperm motility), and teratozoospermia (abnormal sperm morphology). The formulation contains a blend of potent antioxidant and adaptogenic herbs, including Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Kapikachchhu (Mucuna pruriens), and Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris), along with traditional Ayurvedic mineral preparations (bhasmas). Addyzoa acts as a spermatogenic antioxidant, reducing excessive oxidative stress at the cellular level to prevent reactive oxygen species (ROS)-induced damage to sperm cells, thereby improving sperm count, motility, morphology, and overall semen density.
