Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination regimen consisting of four agents: - **Adebrelimab** is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor. It restores the immune system's ability to recognize and destroy tumor cells by blocking the PD-L1/PD-1 pathway, and is approved in China for first-line treatment of extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC)[1][2][3]. - **Albumin-bound paclitaxel** (also known as nab-paclitaxel) is a nanoparticle formulation of the microtubule inhibitor paclitaxel, used as an antineoplastic agent in various cancers. - **Carboplatin** is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. - **Recaticimab** is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9). By inhibiting PCSK9, it increases LDL receptor availability on hepatocytes, enhancing clearance of LDL cholesterol from plasma; it was recently approved in China for hypercholesterolemia[6][7][9]. The combination represents an investigational multi-agent therapy with both immunotherapeutic and cytotoxic mechanisms, potentially being explored for synergistic effects against malignancies such as lung cancer.
