Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Adebrelimab + bevacizumab is a combination therapy consisting of two distinct drugs. Adebrelimab is an anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody that works by blocking the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptor, enhancing T-cell immune responses against cancer cells. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal IgG1 antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), preventing its binding to VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 receptors. This inhibits angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation), cell proliferation, and tumor growth. The combination is being investigated for various cancer types, particularly in refractory settings where standard treatments have failed.
