Overview
A combination therapy regimen consisting of adebrelimab, famitinib, and lateral ventricular chemotherapy. Adebrelimab is a fully humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), blocking its interaction with PD-1 to restore anti-tumor immune responses. Famitinib is an oral, multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) with activity against VEGFR2, PDGFRβ, and c-Kit, primarily acting as an anti-angiogenic agent. This combination is being investigated by Jiangsu Province Nanjing Brain Hospital for the treatment of non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with leptomeningeal metastases in patients who have failed EGFR-TKI therapy. The regimen utilizes the immune checkpoint inhibition of adebrelimab and the anti-angiogenic properties of famitinib alongside localized chemotherapy to address central nervous system involvement.
