Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Adebrelimab + fruquintinib is an investigational combination therapy consisting of two distinct agents for cancer treatment. Adebrelimab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. Fruquintinib is a highly selective small molecule inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR) 1, 2, and 3, blocking angiogenesis and thereby inhibiting tumor blood supply and growth. This combination aims to leverage both immunotherapy and antiangiogenic mechanisms for synergistic antitumor activity. The primary indication under investigation for this combination is advanced or metastatic solid tumors, including colorectal cancer.
