Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination therapy consisting of adebrelimab (a PD-L1 inhibitor), gemcitabine and oxaliplatin (GEMOX chemotherapy regimen), and a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). The combination is being investigated in open-label, single-arm clinical studies for the first-line treatment of advanced biliary tract cancer. Adebrelimab is a PD-L1 inhibitor that blocks the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, preventing cancer cells from evading immune detection. GEMOX is a standard chemotherapy combination, while TKIs target specific enzymes involved in cancer cell growth and division.
