adebrelimab + platinum-based chemotherapy

Adebrelimab is a novel, high-affinity humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). It acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by binding to PD-L1 and blocking its interaction with the programmed death 1 (PD-1) receptor, thereby reversing T-cell inactivation and enhancing cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-mediated anti-tumor responses against PD-L1-expressing tumor cells. Adebrelimab has been structurally engineered to minimize Fc-mediated effector functions such as ADCC and ADCP for improved safety. When combined with platinum-based chemotherapies such as carboplatin or cisplatin plus etoposide, it has demonstrated significant survival benefits in patients with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), leading to its approval in China for this indication[5][6][7][8]. The combination is also being investigated in other solid tumors.
