Overview

Adebrelimab + rivoceranib is an investigational combination therapy pairing an immune checkpoint inhibitor with an anti-angiogenic tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). Adebrelimab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1), which works to restore anti-tumor T-cell activity. Rivoceranib (also known as apatinib) is a small-molecule TKI that selectively inhibits Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2), thereby blocking tumor angiogenesis. This combination is primarily being evaluated for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), including its use in neoadjuvant or conversion therapy settings alongside hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC).
