Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Adebrelimab + SHR-8068 + carboplatin is a combination therapy under clinical investigation for the treatment of various advanced cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer, gastric and esophageal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, biliary tract cancer, and others. Adebrelimab is a high-affinity humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting PD-L1 (programmed death-ligand 1), functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. SHR-8068 is a monoclonal antibody targeting CTLA-4 (cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated protein 4), another immune checkpoint that downregulates immune activity; its inhibition further promotes T-cell activation against tumors. Carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. The combination aims to synergistically boost anti-tumor immunity while directly attacking tumor cells with chemotherapy[2][5][6][7].
