Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination regimen consisting of two investigational immunotherapy agents (adebrelimab and SHR-8068) with two established chemotherapy drugs (pemetrexed and carboplatin). Adebrelimab is a monoclonal antibody targeting PD-L1, developed for cancer immunotherapy. SHR-8068 is an investigational anti-TIGIT monoclonal antibody. Pemetrexed is an antifolate cytotoxic agent that inhibits multiple enzymes involved in folate metabolism and DNA synthesis. Carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic that causes DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. The combination aims to enhance antitumor immune response while directly inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and survival. This regimen has been studied primarily for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly non-squamous subtypes.
