Overview

ADEL-103 is an RNA aptamer-based therapeutic candidate developed by Aptadel Therapeutics. It is designed as a targeted therapy for adult cancers, specifically hematologic neoplasms. The drug acts as a modulator of the Ephrin type-A receptor 2 (EphA2), a receptor tyrosine kinase implicated in tumor growth and metastasis. By targeting EphA2, ADEL-103 aims to inhibit metastatic potential and tumor progression with high specificity and minimal toxicity. The platform technology allows for aptamer-drug conjugates (ApDCs) that deliver therapeutic agents directly to tumor cells, improving safety and tissue penetration while reducing immunogenicity[1][5][7]. As of June 2025, ADEL-103 remains in preclinical development.
