Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Aliatop Detergent Emulsion is a topical cleansing formulation developed by Epitech Group SpA for the management of sensitive, dry, and dermatitis-prone skin, particularly in pediatric populations. The product's primary active ingredient is adelmidrol, a synthetic analogue of the endogenous lipid palmitoylethanolamide (PEA). Adelmidrol belongs to the ALIAmide (Autacoid Local Inflammation Antagonism) class, which exerts anti-inflammatory and soothing effects by modulating the activation of mast cells and other non-neuronal immune cells. The emulsion also incorporates hyaluronic acid for deep hydration, along with a niacinamide-panthenol complex to support skin barrier repair and elasticity. It is marketed as a medical device or specialized dermo-cosmetic for daily cleansing in conditions such as atopic dermatitis and skin allergies.
