Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Adenoviral vaccine encoding wild-type Trop2 (Ad-Trop2 WT) is a preclinical cancer vaccine developed by researchers at Duke University. The vaccine utilizes an adenoviral vector to deliver the gene encoding wild-type trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (Trop2), a cell-surface glycoprotein overexpressed in various epithelial cancers. By expressing the wild-type Trop2 antigen, the vaccine is designed to stimulate robust humoral and cellular immune responses, including the production of class-switched IgG antibodies and activation of myeloid cells, to target and eliminate Trop2-expressing tumor cells.
