Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AdeVac-Flu is a recombinant pseudoadenoviral vector vaccine developed by NantPharma (also known as NTpharma) for the prevention of human influenza. The vaccine utilizes a pseudoadenoviral nanoparticle platform to deliver hemagglutinin (HA) genes from specific influenza strains, typically including A/H1N1, A/H3N2, and Influenza B, as recommended by the WHO. Upon intranasal administration, the pseudoadenoviral particles deliver the genetic material into human cells, which then express the hemagglutinin protein to elicit a protective immune response. This modality is designed to provide seasonal protection against circulating influenza viruses through a non-invasive delivery route.
