Overview

AdHBV is a replication-incompetent adenoviral vector engineered to contain a 1.3-fold overlength hepatitis B virus (HBV) genome. It is primarily utilized as a research tool in preclinical studies, including murine models and cell culture systems, to establish acute HBV infection. This allows researchers to investigate host immune responses, viral pathogenesis, and the efficacy of potential interventions against HBV replication and associated inflammation.
