ADI-65533

ADI-65533 is a preclinical-stage, broad-neutralizing human IgG1 monoclonal antibody being developed by Mapp Biopharmaceutical and its commercialization arm, LeafBio, for the treatment of hantavirus infections. It is an affinity-matured variant of ADI-42898, engineered to enhance neutralization potency against New World hantaviruses (such as Andes virus) while maintaining strong activity against Old World hantaviruses (such as Puumala virus and Hantaan virus). ADI-65533 targets a conserved quaternary epitope at the interface of the viral glycoprotein Gn/Gc complex, locking the viral fusion complex in its prefusion conformation and preventing viral entry into host cells. It is designed for intravenous administration.
