Overview

AdimFlu-S is a monovalent, unadjuvanted, inactivated, split-virus vaccine developed by Adimmune Corporation to prevent infection from the 2009 pandemic influenza A (H1N1) virus. It contains the hemagglutinin antigen from the H1N1 strain, with dosages tailored for different age groups (7.5 μg for young children and 15 μg for others). The vaccine was a key component of Taiwan's nationwide vaccination campaign starting in November 2009. Clinical evaluations, including those led by National Taiwan University Hospital, have assessed its safety and immunogenicity across diverse populations, including pediatric hemato-oncology patients, pregnant women, and the elderly.
