Adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction (AD-SVF) is an autologous cellular therapy developed by Ageless Regenerative Institute for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The therapy involves the extraction of a patient's own adipose tissue via liposuction, followed by the isolation of the stromal vascular fraction, which contains a heterogeneous population of cells including mesenchymal stem cells, endothelial progenitor cells, and immune cells. This mixture is then administered to the patient through both intravenous and intranasal routes. The therapeutic rationale is based on the ability of these cells to migrate to sites of injury and exert neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and angiogenic effects through paracrine signaling, potentially slowing the progression of Alzheimer's pathology.
