ADM703 is an adenoviral vector (Ad5/35) designed as a murine surrogate for the clinical candidate LOAd703. It encodes two murine immunostimulatory transgenes: a trimerized membrane-bound CD40 ligand (CD40L) and a 4-1BB ligand (4-1BBL). Upon infection of tumor and stromal cells, ADM703 induces the expression of these ligands, which promote the maturation of dendritic cells and the activation and expansion of tumor-specific T cells. By engineering the tumor microenvironment (TME), ADM703 aims to convert a pro-tumorigenic environment into an anti-tumor state. It has been studied in preclinical models of bladder cancer via intravesical administration to evaluate its ability to control tumor growth and improve survival.
