Overview

ADP056 is a reelin modulator in preclinical development for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. It is designed to block tau pathology and promote synaptic function by modulating reelin, a large secreted protein that regulates neuronal function and tau accumulation. Gain-of-function variants of reelin have been shown to protect against familial Alzheimer's disease by uncoupling amyloid and tau pathology; ADP056 aims to mimic or exceed these protective effects[1][3][4][8].
