ADP101

ADP101 is an investigational, pharmaceutical-grade oral immunotherapy (OIT) developed by Alladapt Immunotherapeutics for the treatment of food allergies. It is designed to simultaneously treat allergy to one or more of the most significant food allergens by containing allergenic proteins from 15 foods in equal parts by protein weight. These foods include almond, cashew, chicken egg, codfish, cow milk, hazelnut, peanut, pecan, pistachio, salmon, sesame seed, shrimp, soy, walnut and wheat. The therapy aims to induce desensitization in pediatric patients (ages 4–17) with single or multiple food allergies through gradual exposure to these allergens. Clinical trials have shown that ADP101 increases the reactive threshold for allergic reactions and demonstrates a favorable safety profile. The drug has received FDA Fast Track Designation and is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials (Harmony trial), with ongoing studies assessing its long-term use.
