ADR-002K is an allogeneic adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell (ADSC) therapy developed by Rohto Pharmaceutical. It is currently in clinical development for the treatment of heart failure in patients with ischemic heart disease who are undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). The therapy leverages the regenerative, anti-inflammatory, and pro-angiogenic properties of mesenchymal stem cells to promote myocardial repair and improve cardiac function following surgical revascularization. By delivering these cells directly or adjacently to the damaged heart tissue, the treatment aims to stimulate the repair of ischemic myocardium through paracrine signaling and potential cellular differentiation.
