Overview

**AdR-siPTEN** is an experimental recombinant adenoviral vector engineered to express a small interfering RNA directed against **phosphatase and tensin homolog**. It is intended to suppress PTEN expression following local central nervous system administration. In rat migraine models, spinal trigeminal nucleus administration reduced markers associated with trigeminal nociceptive activation, including NR2B signaling, nitric oxide synthase, nitric oxide, and c-Fos. The construct has been reported only in preclinical rat studies of migraine and has no identified clinical development program, manufacturer, marketed name, or assigned INN.
