Overview
ADS-01 is an investigational cell therapy candidate being developed by AdipoSeeds for the treatment of refractory skin ulcers. The therapy utilizes a proprietary technology to generate Platelet-Like Cells from an Adipose-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell Line (ASCL-PLC). These engineered cells are designed to mimic the physiological functions of natural platelets, specifically by secreting a suite of growth factors—such as PDGF and VEGF—that are critical for stimulating angiogenesis, cell proliferation, and tissue repair in chronic wounds. Unlike traditional platelet-rich plasma (PRP) which depends on donor blood, ADS-01 is produced from a standardized, stable cell line, aiming to provide a consistent and scalable therapeutic option for patients with non-healing ulcers that have failed standard care.
