Overview

ADSC01 is an autologous cell therapy consisting of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs). Developed by various research institutions and biotech companies, including notably the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University in specific clinical contexts, ADSC01 is being investigated for its regenerative and immunomodulatory properties. The therapy involves the extraction of mesenchymal stem cells from the patient's own adipose tissue, which are then expanded in vitro and re-administered. These cells are capable of differentiating into multiple lineages and secreting various growth factors and cytokines that promote tissue repair and modulate inflammatory responses. Primary indications under investigation include knee osteoarthritis, where the cells aim to reduce inflammation and promote cartilage repair, and other degenerative or inflammatory conditions.
