Overview

The adsorbed acellular diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis + Haemophilus influenzae type b combined vaccine (DTaP-Hib) is a multi-component combination vaccine being developed by Yuxi Watson Biotechnology. It is designed to provide active immunization against four major pediatric infectious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), and invasive infections caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b. The formulation consists of diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, and acellular pertussis antigens (including pertussis toxoid and filamentous hemagglutinin), combined with a Hib capsular polysaccharide conjugate, all adsorbed onto an aluminum-based adjuvant to enhance the immune response. As of 2023, the vaccine is undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety and immunogenicity in a broad age range, including infants, children, and adults.
