The adsorbed acellular diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (component) and Haemophilus influenzae type b (conjugate) combined vaccine (DTaP-Hib) is a quadrivalent combination vaccine being developed by Zhifei Biotech (through its subsidiary Beijing Zhifei Lvzhu Biopharmaceutical). It combines acellular pertussis antigens, diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid (all adsorbed), and a Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) polysaccharide conjugate antigen. The vaccine is designed to induce protective immunity against diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), tetanus, and invasive Haemophilus influenzae type b disease in infants and young children. It is currently in Phase I clinical development in China.
