Adsorbed acellular diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis-inactivated poliomyelitis combined vaccine (DTaP-IPV) is a quadrivalent combination vaccine developed by Beijing Minhai Biotechnology (a subsidiary of Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products). It is designed for the active immunization of infants and children against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and poliomyelitis. The vaccine contains diphtheria and tetanus toxoids, acellular pertussis antigens (typically pertussis toxoid and filamentous hemagglutinin), and inactivated poliovirus types 1, 2, and 3, all adsorbed onto an aluminum-based adjuvant. By combining these antigens into a single injection, the vaccine aims to simplify the immunization schedule and improve vaccination compliance. As of 2023, the candidate is in Phase I clinical trials in China to evaluate its safety and immunogenicity compared to licensed combination vaccines.
