The adsorbed acellular DTP-IPV combined vaccine is a quadrivalent combination vaccine developed by Kangtai Biological (Minhai Biotechnology) for the active immunization of infants and children against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and poliomyelitis. The vaccine consists of diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, acellular pertussis antigens, and inactivated poliovirus (IPV) types 1, 2, and 3, adsorbed onto an aluminum-based adjuvant. By combining these antigens into a single injection, the vaccine aims to reduce the number of required immunizations, thereby improving compliance and coverage. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials in China.
