The Adsorbed Tetanus Vaccine is an inactivated toxoid vaccine developed by Sinovac Life Sciences Co., Ltd. (part of the Sinovac Management Consortium). It is composed of tetanus toxoid derived from *Clostridium tetani*, which has been detoxified and adsorbed onto an aluminum adjuvant to enhance the immune response. The vaccine is designed to induce protective antitoxin antibody responses that neutralize the tetanus toxin. It is indicated for post-traumatic prevention and booster immunization against tetanus in adults. The product was approved in China in August 2025 and is supplied in prefilled syringes with a potency of no less than 40 IU per 0.5 mL dose.
