Advantage Anti-Caries Varnish

**Advantage Anti-Caries Varnish** is an investigational, professionally applied topical dental varnish containing 10% povidone-iodine and 5% sodium fluoride for primary prevention of dental caries in young children. Povidone-iodine provides broad antiseptic activity intended to reduce cariogenic oral bacteria, while sodium fluoride promotes enamel remineralization and resistance to demineralization. The product was evaluated in Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical studies, including a Phase 2 primary-prevention study in children.
