Advax-adjuvanted trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine

Advax-adjuvanted trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine is an investigational seasonal influenza vaccine developed by Vaxine. It combines a standard seasonal trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine (TIV) with Advax, a proprietary adjuvant derived from semi-crystalline microparticles of delta inulin. The vaccine targets the surface hemagglutinin antigens of seasonal influenza strains (H1N1, H3N2, and influenza B), stimulating robust humoral and cellular immune responses. By incorporating the Advax adjuvant, the vaccine aims to enhance antibody affinity maturation, increase plasmablast generation, and provide antigen-dose sparing, particularly in high-risk populations such as older adults and individuals with chronic diseases.
