Overview

ADX-743 is an investigational, orally available small molecule developed by Aldeyra Therapeutics. It is a novel analog of ADX-629 and functions as an inhibitor of reactive aldehyde species (RASP). RASP are implicated in inflammatory and metabolic diseases, and inhibition may reduce inflammation and improve metabolic parameters. Preclinical studies have shown that ADX-743 lowers triglycerides and fatty acids, supporting its potential use in hypertriglyceridemia and obesity. The drug is currently in preclinical development for these indications[1][2][9][10].
