Overview
AeroLEF is a proprietary inhalation formulation that combines free and liposome-encapsulated fentanyl. It was developed for the treatment of moderate to severe acute pain. The unique formulation provides both rapid onset and sustained relief from pain without attendant toxicity. The drug is delivered through a breath-actuated device that delivers the fentanyl formulation to the lungs.
