Overview

AFM12 is an investigational, tetravalent bispecific antibody construct designed to engage natural killer (NK) cells for the treatment of B‑cell malignancies. Developed by Affimed, it simultaneously binds the NK-cell Fc receptor CD16A and the B-cell antigen CD19 to redirect and activate NK cells against CD19‑expressing tumor cells, promoting antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. AFM12 is part of Affimed’s ROCK platform of NK cell engagers but its clinical development has been discontinued after preclinical and very early clinical efforts in non‑Hodgkin lymphoma.
