Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AFVT-2101 is a third-generation innate cell engager (ICE) being developed by Affivant Sciences for the treatment of solid tumors, including ovarian, lung, kidney, and breast cancers. It is designed to target CD16 (FcγRIIIa) on innate immune cells, such as natural killer (NK) cells and macrophages, and redirect them toward an antigen that is highly overexpressed on various epithelial tumors. By leveraging high-affinity, specific binding to CD16, AFVT-2101 aims to enhance antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) against tumor cells. The program is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development, with studies spanning from discovery through preclinical evaluation.
