AFX3772

AFX3772 is a 24-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine developed using the Multiple Antigen Presenting System (MAPS) technology platform. It contains 24 pneumococcal polysaccharides and two conserved pneumococcal proteins, designed to elicit both B-cell (antibody) and T-cell immune responses against *Streptococcus pneumoniae*. The MAPS platform enables higher valency than conventional conjugation technologies, potentially providing broader coverage and higher immunogenicity compared to existing vaccines. The primary indication is the prevention of invasive disease and pneumonia caused by *Streptococcus pneumoniae* in adults and infants. Originally developed by Affinivax, it was later acquired by GSK[1][4][5][7].
