Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AG-05 + AG-06 is a combination therapy consisting of two distinct small molecule candidates developed by **Alpha-G Therapeutics**. AG-05 is a small molecule inhibitor of **vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR)**, while AG-06 is a small molecule inhibitor of **fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR)**. The combination is designed to provide dual inhibition of key angiogenic and proliferative pathways involved in the progression of solid tumors. By targeting both the VEGF and FGF signaling axes, the therapy aims to overcome resistance mechanisms often observed with single-agent anti-angiogenic treatments. The program has been investigated primarily for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma and renal cell carcinoma, where these pathways are frequently dysregulated.
