Overview

Ag-Phage P is a preclinical bacteriophage-based vaccine candidate developed by iNtRON Biotechnology for the prevention of avian influenza. Utilizing the proprietary IMPA™ (Immune-Modulating Phage Application) platform, the vaccine is engineered to display avian influenza antigens on the surface of bacteriophage particles. This approach leverages the inherent immunogenicity of the phage to act as both a delivery vehicle and an adjuvant, stimulating a robust immune response against the targeted viral antigens. The IMPA™ platform is designed to enhance antigen presentation and induce both humoral and cellular immunity without the need for traditional chemical adjuvants.
