AG20011 is a pharmaceutical-grade dried extract of *Hedera helix* (Ivy leaf) developed by Ahn-Gook Pharmaceuticals. It is utilized as a key active component in the development of the combination drug AG2001, where it is paired with *Lonicera japonica* flower extract. AG20011 possesses secretolytic, mucolytic, and bronchodilatory properties, making it effective for treating respiratory conditions such as acute bronchitis. Its therapeutic efficacy is primarily attributed to triterpene saponins, notably alpha-hederin, which inhibits the internalization of beta-2 adrenergic receptors, thereby maintaining receptor density on the cell surface and enhancing bronchodilation.
