AgenT-797 is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf cell therapy composed of invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells derived from healthy donors. These iNKT cells are expanded ex vivo and administered to patients without the need for HLA matching or lymphodepletion. The therapy is designed to directly kill cancer cells and enhance both innate and adaptive immune responses against tumors, including in settings refractory to immune checkpoint inhibitors. AgenT-797 has demonstrated a favorable safety profile with no severe cytokine release syndrome or neurotoxicity in clinical trials. It has shown clinical activity as monotherapy and in combination with anti-PD-1 agents across various solid tumors, including gastric cancer and non-small-cell lung cancer[1][4][7][8].
