Overview

AGMB-102 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Agomab Therapeutics. It functions as a partial agonist of the c-Met receptor (also known as the hepatocyte growth factor receptor), mimicking some effects of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF). The drug is designed for potential use in treating fibrotic and inflammatory diseases, leveraging HGF’s regenerative properties to promote tissue repair and modulate fibrosis. Unlike its related candidate AGMB-101, which is a full c-Met agonist, AGMB-102 only partially activates the MET receptor. As of June 2025, AGMB-102 remains in the discovery stage and has not yet entered clinical trials[1][2][5][6][7][8].
