Overview

AGS-1 is a botanical-derived drug candidate developed by the Indonesian biotechnology company Medika Natura. It is being developed as an immunomodulator and for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections (URTI). The compound is produced using proprietary fractionation technology to isolate specific bioactive components from natural sources. In addition to its development as a monotherapy, AGS-1 is being studied in combination with SKF7 for its potential activity against SARS-CoV-2.
