Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AGS67C is a **fully human monoclonal IgG2 antibody** that targets **CD37**, a tetraspanin cell surface protein highly expressed on malignant B cells, and to a lesser extent on T lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes, and certain hematopoietic precursors. AGS67C serves as the antibody component for the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) AGS67E, where it is conjugated via a protease-cleavable linker to the cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE), a potent microtubule-disrupting agent. As an unconjugated antibody, AGS67C does not exhibit intrinsic apoptotic or antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) activity; its therapeutic utility is primarily in targeted delivery of cytotoxic agents to CD37-expressing cells in malignancies such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, T-cell lymphomas, and acute myeloid leukemia[1][2][3][5]. AGS67C was selected for optimal specificity and internalization efficiency to deliver payloads to tumor cells.
