AH112543 is a fluorescent molecular imaging tracer designed for the intraoperative visualization of tumors overexpressing the c-Met (mesenchymal–epithelial transition factor) receptor. Developed by the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Ziekenhuis (Netherlands Cancer Institute), it is specifically being evaluated for its ability to illuminate tumor margins and lymph node metastases in patients with squamous cell carcinomas, such as penile and tongue carcinoma. The agent consists of a c-Met-targeting moiety conjugated to a fluorophore, provided as an ammonium acetate salt.
