Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ahah Drug is a plant-based herbal formulation developed by Dr. Nguyen Thi Trieu for the management of HIV/AIDS. The formulation consists of concentrated extracts from five plants: *Eclipta prostrata*, *Dioscorea cirrhosa*, *Phyllanthus urinaria*, *Adenosma glutinosum*, and *Impatiens balsamina*, combined with ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). It is intended to protect and increase the levels of CD4+ T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes in patients with HIV infection, thereby supporting the immune system and potentially reducing the impact of the virus. The drug has been evaluated in a Phase 4 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to assess its efficacy in maintaining immune cell counts over a nine-month period.
