AHN-12 is a high-affinity IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets CD45 (leukocyte common antigen), a transmembrane protein expressed on most hematopoietic cells. The drug has been developed as a radiolabeled antibody conjugated with yttrium-90 (90Y) for potential use in the treatment of hematologic malignancies. Its mechanism involves binding to CD45-positive cells and delivering targeted radiation to these cells via the attached radioisotope, aiming to eradicate malignant leukocytes while sparing non-target tissues. The primary developer is the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center. Clinical development focused on relapsed or refractory leukemia and related disorders; however, all known clinical trials have been terminated or discontinued at phase 1[1][2][4][6].
