AHT956

AHT956 is a small molecule inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC), developed by Novartis. It acts as a PKC inhibitor and has been investigated primarily for its potential in immune system diseases and skin/musculoskeletal diseases, with particular preclinical focus on uveal melanoma harboring GNAQ or GNA11 mutations. In preclinical studies, AHT956 demonstrated selective growth inhibition in melanoma cell lines with these mutations, inducing G1 cell cycle arrest and suppressing DNA synthesis.
