Overview

AI Proteins' TNFR1-targeting miniprotein is a de novo designed biologic developed in collaboration with Vivtex Corporation for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Utilizing AI Proteins' high-throughput drug discovery platform, these miniproteins are engineered to specifically inhibit Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor 1 (TNFR1) with high potency and novel receptor engagement. A key differentiator of this program is the goal of oral delivery, facilitated by Vivtex's proprietary GI-ORIS™ (Gastrointestinal-Oral Route Intelligent Screening) technology, which aims to convert typically injectable protein therapeutics into oral formulations. By selectively targeting TNFR1, the therapy seeks to modulate inflammatory signaling while potentially offering a superior safety and efficacy profile compared to existing non-selective TNF inhibitors.
