Overview
AIG01 is a small molecule SOS1 inhibitor being developed by AIGEN Sciences for the treatment of pan-KRAS cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), and colorectal cancer (CRC). SOS1 (Son of Sevenless homolog 1) is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor that promotes the activation of KRAS by facilitating the exchange of GDP for GTP. By inhibiting SOS1, AIG01 aims to disrupt the activation of both wild-type and mutant KRAS, providing a potential therapeutic strategy for a broad range of KRAS-driven malignancies. The drug is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
